Roller Derby is not only the fastest-growing sport around, but its fans are notoriously diverse and loyal. The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association has over 120 member leagues, and another 65 apprentice leagues from all over the U.S. (plus Canada and Europe), and the sport has not slowed down since its resurgence began at the turn of the century.
Bangor Roller Derby, as is very much the Roller Derby norm, is dedicated to becoming a powerful, positive influence on our community. Commitment to local charities is in our by-laws. Moreover, one of our main goals is to present a vehicle and forum for empowering ALL women.

Remember, Bangor Roller Derby is a non-profit, member-run, member-financed operation.
Package options, which will also include such things as – program placement, announcer mentions during bouts, poster display, banners, and more – are not yet ironed out, but it’s never too early to get in on the action. Website display, Facebook mentions, and many other opportunities exist. You could become the official whoozit of Bangor Roller Derby, or donate team jerseys and make us love you forever!

I wanted to find out about getting involved with the new team. I have an extensive background in photography and marketing and would love to help out any way I can. I have some ideas that I wanted to work on with the Colorado Springs team, but was never able to. Maybe we can team up and compare some ideas and find some great ways to market Bangor Roller Derby.
